PROS of ordering through Althea
- Cheaper price than the retail store because of the discount, I've consulted my econ-pest friend Abby about this (as there seems to be an inconsistency with the demand and supply). To which she says that there are a lot of factors why it is still cheaper despite a huge demand, one of which is that, no need for mall rent. Onga naman, that costs a lot!
- MORE BRAND CHOICES, since very limited pa yung Korean stores available in the Philippines. Ever since I went back to my Korean-drama-loving-self, I've been jealous of how perfect their skin are! Even the male actors! It's totally insane, especially the fact that some are way older than me, but looks waaaay fresher that I am. Nakakainsecure, kaya with that, I've been eyeing Korean skin care products. Malay niyo, mag work diba? Haha!
- NO NEED TO GO TO THE MALL. Hahaha, for all the lazy arse like me, this is definitely the best reason why! On the rare occasions that I visit the beauty stores in a mall, usually, there's scarcity of products because of the demand. Kaya, it's really a huge benefit for me that I can do my shopping without even leaving the confines of my lungga.
- Replies. As you'll see later, the biggest CON of ordering is "WAITING." However, the fact that Althea Pixies replies to my
anxietyqueries is such a huge relief. Kasi, the moment you'll finish your transaction, the amount will easily be deducted to your account. So diba? Nakakapraning? But dontchuworry, your orders (once placed) are really safe and secured. Otherwise, you can just email them and be blessed with a refund. Tada! - FREE SHIPPING for orders priced 999 and above. International shipping and for free? Say what? Hell yeaaah! Unlike purchases from my favorite online-bookstore ehem Book Depository, shipping from Althea is for free if your purchase amounts to a total of 999 pesos. So, you can either do what me and Abby do, which is to hoard items, or you and your friends can order together para sabay na lang with the shipping diba?
My only CON
- WAITING*. For praning people like me, this is such a big deal. A fact that I can never ignore. From the moment you finalize your order kasi, you'll immediately be "billed." So not immediately receiving confirmation or any email at all made me a little panic-y. It's a good thing that I have "school" pa, so I don't really have to think about it when I need to study. But you know, there's still a knot on my stomach, making me panic and praning.
*I dunno a! Compared nga to Book Depository, the whole process of ordering sa Althea is quite short. Kaso, lately, I've been hating the fact of not getting replies, being ignored. Mga ganyang drama. Kaya siguro, a day or two of no emails made me worried. My "patient" self, is very disappointed actually, but maybe it's the stress din with school. I'll be back to regular programming soon. I can feel it na. So this "con" will be gone soon. Well, atleast for me.
WILL I DO IT AGAIN?
- Actually, while waiting for my order to be on a "shipping" status, I already made another purchase, since I've been wanting to try this facial foam cleanser from Cosrx. So for now, my second box is already "processing."
- SO the answer is, HELL YES! But I have been really trying not to do some impulsive purchases, cause I wanted to try the products that I ordered first before making any other gastos.
