Tuesday's with Evid

As I woke up at around 10 AM, I noticed a message from a group chat that finally, we can enroll EVID and SPECPRO. The best way of waking up. I was prepared to watch a movie alone but instead, there I was, hurriedly taking a bath and rushing myself to school.  Alas, before 2PM, I am officially enrolled with 21 regular units for my THIRD YEAR, SECOND SEMESTER as a STRUGGLING LAW STUDENT.

At 3:30 I attended my EVID class. Our professor, right there and then, started a lecture. It was an introduction to the course. Basically, the first chapter of the book. There were familiar terms, but mostly it was alien to me (to almost all of us, actually). But as I was feeling lost on how unbelievable things were going (on the phase of the lecture), I realized at how lucky I am that I am there, sitting, taking down notes for this EVID class. That luck was on my side and I was there, listening to the lecture.

I had no plans on buying the book yet, nor I do not see myself studying over the break. But as I was overjoyed and thankful for being there, I bought the book. Not knowing on how much money I have left with me, it felt like it was a must to buy. After all, I owe it all to my damn luck that I was there.

Our professor - Lolo A, stressed on how difficult EVID as a bar subject is. But I will give my 101% to it, and to all my classes this semester. I am barely there, I can feel it. Here's to a hopeful second sem.
