TWENTY-FOURTEEN. It started out fine but it got little crazy somewhere in the middle of the first week of the year then something good happened then a tornado happened mid-year but God opened a window when a door closed.
Wait, lemme start with that door and window thing.
Not to bore you with the details but let's just say that... remember when I finished college in three years and started with another "degree" right after getting my degree with a smirk on my face because I was "younger" than most of my classmates? As it turned out, I will not be graduating on time because of some bumps in the road.
Right now, I am still
About that window. WAIT. I just have to share this line from Jane The Virgin

| A screencap of my tweet. Because I am narcissist like that! |
Getting through all the crap life gave me, I could not do it without God, my family, and friends in that particular order.
My life was shaken by the numerous nerve wracking self-inflicted, unexpected, destiny sort of things that happened this year. But somewhere down there, I found myself that I was not alone. Sure, I am blessed with a very supportive and understanding family but I still believe someone had my back all throughout. Yeah, I know I know... But still. I am just very happy that despite everything, I felt that my faith was stronger than ever. Yay!
My family. The four of us are just happier than ever. We've been facing our fair share of problems but I am very proud for having my kind of folks. Back to my narcissism, my parents and kuya might have scolded me for some wrong and impulsive decisions I've made but with an open mind and forgiving heart, things between us have been very okay.
A few things about me. Well, I've learned how to operate the rice cooker contraption. I've also managed how to fry bacon using that electric stove thingamajig. Welcome me to civilization, thank you! I started wearing prescription glasses and I'm still wearing braces *nerd alert. I am still fond of collecting books (I think this part needs a fix). We've been living without a house-helper for a few months now, with that I learned a few household chores yes civilization! I am getting fatter by the minute and I do hope that I'll be able to snap out of this.

OKAY. With my trusty Starbucks planner, here are the highlights of my year.
JANUARY
- Sherlock returns for Season 3. Of course, this is a major even for a Cumberbitch/people/collective/cookie like me. Little by little, I am embracing the Sherlockian fandom together with an obsession with Sir Doyle's work.
- My wala pang one-month iPhone got stolen. Hell yeah!
- Got my prescription glasses. Can you see how life-changing my January was?
MARCH
- Went to Baguio with friends. It took a lot of convincing and "divine intervention" before papa allowed for this thing to happen. Eventually it did. So yay! And so for 3 days 2 nights, I together with Mara, Annielle, Yvan, Beau, and Bryan went and enjoyed Baguio.
APRIL
- Was able to go to "Philippine Hot Air Balloon" with Annielle, Vince, and Bryan. Seeing a hot air balloon contest/show was definitely on my bucket list as well as riding one (but thanks to some story I heard, I got that riding thing off my list). It was definitely a fun experience.
- It was also during this month when a door closed. HEHE i
still cry a littleam moving on, thanks
MAY
- Speaking of bucket list, seeing Vigan was one of them. Last May 4-7, I finally visited the place which was very well documented here. It was really an amazing experience especially to have shared it with my cousin Ate Joy, clingy friend Kim, and pest friend Abby. I would definitely go back if I could.
- A window opened. Well, I heard somewhere that if this "window" is really for me, then it was not a door closing but rather, another door opening. hashtag sinong optimistic ngayon?
JUNE
- And so a
newjourney began last June.
JULY
- I finally got a pet goldfish named, SHERL and JOHN FISHY. I swear, having the permission from papa to own one was just very ... FULFILLING. I suggested to own up to something and he trusted me with the responsibility of keeping them alive. For three months, things have been good. I've been cleaning their fishbowl once a week. Feeding them twice a week - every 12 midnight and 12 noon. Talking to them and tapping the fishbowl every once in awhile. I already gotten used to the sound of their life support (oxygen) buzzing loudly every night that it felt like it hums me to sleep. But then, some unfortunate incident happened and the next thing I knew, I was already posting a picture of a dead goldfish on my social media account.

AUGUST
- This year. I lost a dear uncle - Kuya Thor. He had been suffering from diabetes for a very long time but I think late last year, things got worse. Early this year, he started undergoing dialysis. And just last August 31, he passed away and left a wounded wife and a grieving daughter. He also left his siblings, relatives, and friends who will always be longing for him. Indeed, I am blessed to have an uncle like him. He's definitely not your average #TitosOfManila. We will miss him and forever will he be in our hearts.

October
- MONTH LONG celebration of my 21st year of existence. hashtag claiming it
- SANDBOX @ Porac Pampanga with Annielle and Fritz. Despite the distance and all that shizz, I am grateful that I was able to share most of my roadtrips with Annielle (this part will appear to my year end text to her hehe).
Between those were lunch, clingy lunch, dinner, clingy dinner, Marasang, karaoke, random roadtrips to my second home kunyari Tagaytay and Pampanga, Starbucks, foodtrips, movie dates, family day, sleepovers, stalking I meant studying, shopping for highlighters and post-its and ballpens, EDSA-PIER-CAVITEX-ALABANG ZAPOTE traffic, and a whole lot of catching up and making chismis.
AHHH! What a good year it has been. I know that whatever tomorrow bringseh bahala siya, bakasyon mode pa ko I'll be ready or not, bahala na! I'm starting over with life come January. That's what good about new year's, it gives a chance to start all over. May I not fall into my bad habits and into the deep dark hole of procrastination and self-loathing.
AHHH! What a good year it has been. I know that whatever tomorrow brings
