Stray dog

Imagine this, you've been taking care of a stray dog - named her and called her yours, bathed her, fed her, played with her, spend time with her. Then one day, that stray dog bitten you. The sad news is you loved that stray dog. The sadder thing is - the stray dog have rabies. The saddest thing - you let her live and leave you, wounded. 

Here you are now looking at that bite mark that the stray dog gave you. You recall how you once adopted her when she was left alone in the empty streets and how you grew fond of her up to that tingling pain.

You tell your story to somebody. They became angry and yet, here you are doing nothing about it. The stranger would kill that dog, but here you are, telling that "no, she deserves to live". 

Dogs are supposed to be man's best friend. Understanding and caring. 

But a day will come that no matter how hard you've loved them - all of a sudden, they will succumb to their animal instinct to survive and will betray you.
